was) a phone service where you could get paid a few cents every time your friend calls your Brring number and listens to ad (then their call connects with your phone). They also award you a buck for every one of your friends that you refer. Sounds cool, huh? I
did receive my first check of $10 from Brring last year only about a month after I requested it. I put in my request for my second check of $20 way back on April 10, 2008. The confirmation email told me to expect my check in 4-6 weeks. 6 weeks came and went and no check. I sent them an email and their reply was basically "Sorry we've been overwhelmed with the interest in our service. In a few weeks you should have your check." 8 months later and I'm still waiting for my $20. Brring has since completely changed their "rewards" program. You will no longer receive money when someone calls and listens to the ads. But that $20 was earned long before the policy change so shouldn't I still be entitled to my money?
Yesterday I requested another check for $24 that was still sitting in my account. This time the confirmation email said "Due to the unexpected volume of requests we are unable to pinpoint a time when you will receive your check. Thank you for using Brring!" Great. In other words, "
"You're never getting your money. Please go away." Sorry but that's not an acceptable reply. You promised someone money then when you don't have it you say it's because you didn't expect so many people would want their money? Are you kidding me? Who would have thought people would want money that was promised to them.
Until further notice I officially declare that Brring.com is a SCAM. If I ever get my money I will update this post. I suggest you stay away from this site.

But, what about the service? I need a 2nd line for my new office....does it work well with the upgraded account? Are there any other costs?
Brring is indeed a Scam!!! I have been waiting months for payment and still haven't received payment, despite several email attempts to communicate with them. They always just return some dump reply to me just like they gave you -- and they never pay up! I guess they thought I was playing when I said I would expose them as the Scam they are As Wide As The Internet Can Reach!!!...
